Roasted Cauliflower with White Sauce

Delicious and rich, my decadent and simple Roasted Cauliflower with White Sauce is so good you might "promote" it to main course. Enjoy! 

Serves 4 to 6

Ingredients:

  • 1 large cauliflower, trimmed and cut into small, even sections
  • ¼ cup olive oil
  • Salt and freshly ground black pepper
  • 1 cup Cynthia’s Special White Sauce
  • Bread crumbs

Directions:

Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Toss cauliflower with olive oil and season with salt and pepper. Arrange cauliflower in a single layer on large baking dish and roast, for about 30 to 40 minutes.

Pour white sauce over roasted cauliflower and sprinkle with bread crumbs. Serve immediately.

Cook’s Notes:

Cauliflower is done when it reaches a golden brown color, but personal preference is what will really determine the baking time.

My Cynthia's Special White Sauce is delicious! It may take more time to prepare than a simple Béchamel, but it tastes so much better. Definitely worth the extra time!
